Jacky Berger trained at the Ballet du Nord school then joined the company in 1997. He discovered the contemporary repertoire with Thomas Lebrun and improvisation alongside Nadège MacLeay. He has performed in choreographies by Ohad Naharin, Jean-Claude Gallotta, Itzik Galili, Maryse Delente, Rui Horta, Guy Wizman, Roni Haver and Juha Marsalo.
He performs in Carolyn Carlson's Down by the River, Tigers in the Tea House (new dancer), Les Rêves de Karabine Klaxon, Full Moon, Hidden, eau and Synchronicity.
In 2008, Carolyn Carlson handed over her legendary solo Blue Lady to him, alternating with Tero Saarinen.
