Les rêves de Karabine Klaxon

Carolyn Carlson

Show for a young audience

Funny and impish, Karabine falls asleep and dreams of incredible adventures. No use calling her, she prefers to stay in her world inhabited by strange beings that include a long-necked bird, a mischievous monkey, striped creatures and a fish with silver scales. They drag her into the magic of their appearances and make her experience some thrilling moments. Her explosive good humour makes her bold and takes her to a fairytale world in her dreams. Pleasures that she shares by singing the lyrics of her own song with the audience. For her first creation for a young audience, Carolyn Carlson wanted to introduce the very young to the poetry of dance by plunging them into a dream world.A piece full of creative fantasies.
