Mundus imaginalis
Carolyn Carlson chorégraphic cycle | first stage
A creator of visual poetry is how Carolyn Carlson describes herself. The cities she goes through and the venues she inhabits occupy a fundamental role in her artistic expression. Mundus imaginalis is the relationship between her art and space, the spaces in which she has chosen to travel. The project takes new shape from city to city and venue to venue. It is like a dice being cast, playing poetics ad infinitum. A journey through the epicentre of Carolyn Carlson’s imagination, departing from the Musée La Piscine.
