Le Recours aux forêts

Carolyn Carlson| Jean Lambert-Wild | Michel Onfray
Jean-Luc Therminarias | François Royet

“I simply want to be done with the business of madness
Of foolishness
Of stupidity
Of the evilness of human beings.”
Le Recours aux fôrêts, Michel Onfray

An atypical director, philosopher, choreographer, composer and documentarist all go off together in search of the Waldgänger, the outlaw who chose to live a free life by taking refuge in the forests.
This silent figure of the rebel, performed by Juha Marsalo, is choreographed by Carolyn Carlson. Four actors carry his voice in an other-worldly atmosphere featuring water, mist and intangible visuals by François Royet.
Le Recours aux forêts is both a declaration of revolt towards the cynicism of the contemporary world and an attempt to re-establish a utopian space
